Re: Oval instead of round circles
I have had the same problem to a degree. The circle was just barely out of round. It wasn't oval and was just out of round a little at the top. I figured out the the belts had just enough slack to mess it up. I retightened them and now it works great. I don't know if this will help, but I hope it po...

Re: Grayscale question
The picture is of a hot plate holder I made for our granddaughter and that was the program I used to get a good grayscale photo for her two dogs.

Re: Problem with cutting diy laser
I was having the same issue; I had to retighten both the X and Y belt and that did the trick. They were just slightly off, not enough to notice at first.
Hope this helps correct the issue for you.
Have a great day my friend.

Re: First try at making clocks for friends and family
Thanks Mike.
I can understand now how it was changed. Again, I was not trying to promote that company, just making a statement for where my wife may have found the clock hands. Update she found them someplace else.
I am glad you were able to clear that up for me.

Re: First try at making clocks for friends and family
Thanks, My wife found the clock hands on amazon or SPAMMER, so I have to give her credit for that. I am having a ball making these and stretching my imagination. Helps keep the old boy younger feeling. I have a question! Above was my post from nov. 23rd. First let me say <I WAS NOT TRYING TO SPAM A...

Re: First try at making clocks for friends and family
Those actually make me think of the magic wands from the Harry Potter movies. Could be an idea for that Potter fan in a persons life. ;) Would be very easy to cut your own clock hands also. [/quote] That isn't a bad idea. I'm sure HP templates could be bought from one of the web sites online. As far...

Re: First try at making clocks for friends and family
Very Nice! Especially nice touch with the custom walnut clock hands on the wood cookie clock. That's another great idea for making use of fallen trees.
