I don't know if this would help but I have used IamgR program for pictures and it works well for me anyway.
The picture is of a hot plate holder I made for our granddaughter and that was the program I used to get a good grayscale photo for her two dogs.

I was having the same issue; I had to retighten both the X and Y belt and that did the trick. They were just slightly off, not enough to notice at first.

I can understand now how it was changed. Again, I was not trying to promote that company, just making a statement for where my wife may have found the clock hands. Update she found them someplace else.
