Re: Looking for advice on a rotary attachment
Just curious what you ended up getting. I’m leaning towards the MansfieldCustoms roller personally.

Re: Trouble doing 20 oz skinnys
I’ve done tumblers on a diode 10w laser. I’d take a bet that a 40w could do so as well.

Re: Wire inlay
Bravo this is dope.
Would you be willing to share the technique once you are comfortable with the repeatability? Or perhaps share what types of materials you are using?

Re: Noob trying to get honest opinions
I like the painting style of the mechanic sign. If that’s something you enjoy doing, I’d suggest, focusing on getting that technique down & become a niche expert in that style. Your engraving are competent except where you’re off-center in your paddles those need some work, I think you improved ...

Re: Freezing tonight. I’m worried
Thanks for the words of wisdom. Not being from anywhere cold or dealing with cold temps. I’m in unknown territory. Much appreciated. Hit me up if you ever find yourself dealing with 110 degree weather. :) So, a couple things about water freezing, from someone who lives in the upper midwest (Wisconsi...

Re: Freezing tonight. I’m worried
Here’s what I’ve decided to do. I bought 1 gallon of pink/red RV Marine antifreeze. I poured 1/2 a gallon into my 5 gallon water bucket. I’ve also set up a timer to start my pump at 1:30am and run until 8:am. I’m hoping running water and anti freeze do the job. I’m sure this may be overkill but don’...

Freezing tonight. I’m worried
I live in the SW. Tonight it’s suppose to get to 26 degrees. My 60w Monport laser is in my garage there is no insulation and I fully expect it to get that cold. My laser currently has the bucket of water with algaecide, a few drops of dawn dish soap and distilled water. What’s the best way to prepar...

Re: Waiting on Monport Order - writing into the void.
Ok to update my previous reply. After getting my laser delivered, I discovered that the chiller did not arrive. Still no response or reply from Monport after several attempts to contact them. Totally disappointed in lack of communication, but be assured my CC was charged at point of purchase. My 60...

Monport 60w ordered in Mid Dec -delivered at the end of Jan.
So my Monport 60w finally came in!! And I have questions, mainly how can one tell what laser you physically have? I ordered a 60w manual focus.. but after all my unpacking and getting things in order, like testing the laser mirrors.. Im starting to think this is an AF laser, I cannot find a manual c...

Re: Bigger tube in 60w Monport
So I’m waiting for a 60w from Monport. My question is why would you want to do this? What is the benefit?
