This is likely packet loss when sending the job due to a faulty USB port or cable. First try another port on the computer, and if that doesn't work, change the cable.

Material tests is the only way to get a library that works for your specific laser.

Check your gantry belt. There might be some debris in there stopping the movement. With the laser off, see if you can move to home by hand.
