Re: Well THIS sucks!

I’m not arguing with you, Rich. To me, words mean things. It just kind of pokes me in the eye when I read something like, “I suck ALL of the air out of the Ziploc bag” So why is that every manufacturer does it? Why not just slap it in a bag, then a box and send it to the warehouse? That would elimi...

Re: Decora outlet file

What do you mean by a suitable vector? If all you're doing is cutting a veneer, just draw out the dimensions with the line tool or rectangle tool.

The D1 series is now discontinued, but you still might try contacting their support. It sounds like your firmware is corrupted. You can try typing this in the console:
$RST=*
And press Enter.

Re: Oh! So close!

I do have driers, and the THOUGHT was to move the filament from the clear plastic container to the drier in advance of need, to allow the dryer to both HEAT the filament and remove the moisture. Or maybe an actual device made to control heat and humidity with a built-in dryer exclusively for print ...

Re: Oh! So close!

You may SLIGHTLY REDUCE the atmospheric pressure inside of the bag, and it LOOKS like the filament is in a vacuum, but I assure you, air is still in the bag. I agree to disagree with you Joe. Junk science does not prove your theory, just the opposite - less air is better than more air. I never said...

Re: Well THIS sucks!

I wish roly would make a more powerful laser, 30 watts is a little low, now if they would make a 60 watt or more I'd be a customer Last year everyone was happy with a 10W. Roly is launching a 40W soon with COS technology that will have a spot size of the 10W, but with a diode laser, the current 10/...

I can't say it enough, xTool is a marketing company . There extensive engineering staff exists only to create new products to make their last product obsolete. Roly Automation makes far superior, commercial grade lasers and supports them 100%. If you really hear what uncensored opinions on the compa...
