Re: What's With the Spirograph!?
Really? How does one get a corrupted layer? That's crazy. Thank you! It's rare, but I've seen it happen. Layer 9 remembered and offset fill from a previous job, and now you have it set to line, and it's doing both. Hold down shift, click on layer 9 on the cuts / layers tab (to select everything on ...

When I came back, the scrollwork was burned completely through. (I do keep an eye on it with a webcam, just so there's n...

Cool. LIghtburn is one of the only software products that I don't mind paying for because they maintain a reasonable price for the hobbyist, but if that ever changes I hope your extension is still around. You could do what I did.... download it and keep it in a safe place. I plan on playing with it...

Inkscape to gcode?
I don't know if y'all've seen this, but I came across this on reddit (yeah.. I know) www.reddit.com/r/Laserengraving/comments/1f6o84v/new_inkscape_extension_for_easy_laser_cutting/ I've just finished coding an extension for Inkscape, to quickly export a job directly into LaserGRBL, combining engravi...

Show us both designs. Also, it matters if the original was released under a "no Commercial" license or not. If it is not specifically released as "no Commercial" you're probably fine.

It's an IN-13 (ИН–13), a unique Soviet era "bargraph" tube. The length of the ionized section varies with the current. The voltage is 140V DC. Here are some "VU" meters. They have a logarithmic response, not linear. These are already assembled and include the tubes: If these pri...
