How to Screen Capture and Editing Images

Post by LAHobbyGuy »

For those of you that are having problems with screen capture and images, here is a quick tutorial.
Please don't ask questions in this topic! It is what it is, and I really don't have time to play 20 questions. I'm sure there will be 500 responses with all different methods.
This is for Windows users. Mac users can click here.

EDIT: The REASON I use this program is because it uses VERY LITTLE SYSTEM RESOURCES and is the fastest vector-based software on the market. It can redraw a vector 600x faster than Photoshop! You can undo everything back to the beginning, and the support for learning is unmatched. There are endless video tutorials on YouTube from Corel & YouTube channels. Everything you would ever want to do is covered in a tutorial.
Search YouTube for: xara photo & graphic designer tutorial
And you'll be amazed at what this one-time purchase software can do!
Here is the Official Xara playlist on using this software. You can become an expert graphic designer in hours instead of years!

Yes, you can use free software like Gimp, but you get what you pay for!

Nice tutorial Rich - learned a new way to grab the screen and about a pretty nice graphics program.

THANKS!
Steve J. I received my Roly Lasermaster 10 on 2/14/2023. A major upgrade to my old Ortur with 160x150mm engrave area. My main hobby is pen turning.

Snip & Sketch replaced the Snipping tool. I've been using it for so long I didn't want to replace it Mike.

Thank you for that! I've been planning to move to a Gimp alternative that handles vector work better. I will definitely look into Xara.

Gimp is fine for a lot of things, but it doesn't compare to Xara.
