The warning is telling you the hazards of the materials. It's up to you to take heed or not. I have a good exhaust so I'm not concerned about fumes.

I would add Chrome tanned leather to this list - the chemicals and dyes involved are toxic. That being said, Veg tanned is also quite stinky. Venting is important.

What about Foam Rubber or thin sheets of Neoprene. I'm looking to make Tool Box Drawer Liners/Organizers.
I'll be using a 20W Diode Laser

"Neoprene™ rubber is a synthetic rubber created by the polymerization of chloroprene. It is ideal for laser cutting and engraving."
However they go on to say that a fiber laser dissipates the energy too easily - a co2 laser is "ideal" and not mention a diode laser

i was wondering i know it will etch glass, but will it cut through thin glass? i been doing art with glass and resin, and i wanted to see i it will cut through thin glass, i wanted to ciut some shapes?
