How to speed up a large sign

Post by hmatyas »

At least for me it's a large sign. Someone create a Thank you map for a tree planting. I imported it into Lightburn, did a trace bitmap, and then did a preview. It look okay however the runtime was a little over 11 hours. Are there any "tricks" that I could use to speed up the print. The sign is 34 inches by 30 inches.

My name is Harvey. Right now I have a 2 Watt Shark laser that I really have not used. However, I belong to a Makerspace that has a Boss 100 Watt CO2 laser with Lightburn. I hope to learn Lightburn and do lots of projects. So for I have only made 2 signs, but I hope that will change as I learn the system better.

Right click on the image and do a TRACE IMAGE - seems lo look the same to me just less time. I do not know how the burn differences will look though.
Hi my name is Mike and I use a Roly Automation LaserMATIC10 and a Creality Falcon 10w diode laser.
