I have a lot of the 600g. spools, but also a lot of 1kg. spools, and a lesser number of 3kg. spools.

The construction of the FrankenBarn extension has begun. I am adding a 25x43' extension to one side of the main building. I am combining TWO of these barn sheds into one, to give me the additional length, and I am raising the roof four feet.

These are the garages I purchased from the auction in Georgia. But I only paid $2,450.00 EACH!

The FrankenBarn expansion project is going well. As with everything, it is a lit-tle bigger than originally planned. Now I am considering adding a second floor to the extension, or I might leave the high ceiling and line the walls with tall pallet racks for stuff.

Combining TWO barn kits into one building opens up a lot of possibilities. The original building design had 90" tall walls, but now the walls are 14 feet tall, and the center peak is nearly 18 feet. 25 feet wide, and 42 feet long. We set up some of the base frame today, and propped up one of the main frame assemblies, to get the perspective. It looks like I will lose TWO windows on the FrankenBarn.

My helper said, "You could add a second floor to this one .."

That single tube frame looks weak against a strong side wind. :o I think I am going to make the frame a double set of square tubes sandwiched between 14 ga. steel plates. I have the steel, and the cnc plasma table, so why not?

What photoshop job? The photo of the garage with the tractor in it is made by the manufacturer, to show their standard 25x33 building in a typical residential setting. That is not my work.

The basic front frame is up. I will add bracing and the opening for the 12'x12' roll up door.

I got more of the main frame up today. I rented a scissor lift for a month. It was just too dangerous, to have a "helpful friend" standing on a pallet supported by forklift blades 16 feet in the air!

I am still pondering a second floor in this extension ....

Just yanking your chain, Joe. Someone has to reign you in before this gets any crazier. It's for your own good, you understand.

We all know that you'd go out and buy a tractor just to take the photograph. And the camera. And then learn LightRoom. And... ;)
