cameras for laser

hi all, Draz here gotta question on, can you use a camera for lightburn without mounting it over your laser bed?
I would like to have a work base alone for the camera to design items using it in lightburn ? can it be done?

1000 yard comp shooting. Love to learn an help others, oh ya just got my Falcon2 22watt laser , hoping to learn from all of you guys here...

You can mount the camera anywhere you want.
