Hello,
I have a GweikeCloud 55w CO2 laser and I am beyond frustrated with this machine. This machine never seems to replicate anything good I was able to accomplish. A little background on me, I had no experience with lasers prior to me purchasing this machine. I have read and watched so much about Lightburn and setup with the gweikecloud. There is a lot of contraindicating information about how this machine works with Lightburn, for example, thickness is 17mm minus your actual thickness of what you are cutting. So it would be 14 mm. But that is no longer the case because GweiekCloud now just has a material thickness setting, so everything else in that tutorial, to me, seems like it is outdated or irrelevant. So i search more and more and spin myself in circles.
What I would like to know if anyone know of a tutorial, besides the Lightburn site material, that explains what you need to do for fine tuning your laser. for example Camera calibration, or kerf tests, for example. What I am looking for is a list of what you need to do to completely set up and fine tune my laser.
I am so frustrated that I have purchased a New Laptop, and put a fresh install of Lightburn on my new laptop. I am going to go through every possible setup and configuration before I try to create more scrap wood.
If anyone knows of a site that lists out what you need to do for testing and configurations, that would be greatly appreciated. I don't need step by step instructions for each test I need to do, i can find that on my own. But I do appreciate your taking time to read this.
Thank you
