Good afternoon,
I wanted to engrave spent cartridges (brass) to gift to families of the military. So, if you could give me some guidance, I would greatly appreciate it. I am verry happy that you have this site as it is the best one that I have found thank you.
Thank you
Ed

A lot of posts about cutting vinyl, it is worth remembering a lot of older vinyl especially flooring may contain asbestos so be wary.

So the leaving the brown paper that is glued to the plexiglass is "OK" then to burn? I haven't got the courage to etch yet using plexiglass.

No air assist is going to clear 100% of everything away from the lens at all times. I would never risk it since that would require a lens replacement. I guess the vapor could stick to anything even inside your ventilation system, fans, etc.
