Do laser heads have life span. have atomstack 7. have not had it a year and i have no power. setting i have used before will not work now. is this a setting thing.

I'll have to buy Lightburn so I can export them. Our laser doesn't support LB in case you were wondering!

You can also use Lightburn for free for the 30-day trial period and do all of your importing and exporting during that time frame.

Lightburn does not recognize my controller (Foxalien Masuter Pro) . The easiest way may be the import of the .lbdev file. So if anyone is running a Foxalien Machine on Ubuntu Linux 22.04, could you please export the .lbdev file and make it available for me? Unfortunately I have not managed to install neither Wine nor Candle to be able to run the .exe files on linux.....

Issue solved. Foxalien Masuter Pro Laser works on Ubuntu 22.04. In the manual installation I picked GRBL, USB serial port 0. In Lightburn I went into the device settings that can be seen in the console after loading them from the controller. Foxalien provided me a .txt file with the appropriate $ settings. In my case I only had to change the spindle speed setting and that was it. Hm. Now comes the fun part: I may be creative.......

I have read and reread all your posts related to art and material libraries. All loaded fine. The art files work fine.
My issue is with "This is the xTool 20W cut and engrave parameters, converted to a .clb and contributed by our member KiwiGrant"
I highlight whatever art is in my workspace and try to assign to layer a file for parameters.
The only button/tab that is useable in lightburn is Create New from Layer. All others( Assign-Link,ETC) are not pickable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to highlight the layer on the Cuts / Layers tab.

I have done that. All the tabs except the one mentioned above
