Thanks, Rich. I meant join here months ago (in fact I think I did!). Finally found a spare few minutes to create an account, read the startup posts and download a few files. I know thousands of others have already said this but it bears repeating - You are the single best presenter that I've come across on the interwebs. Period. Thanks again for all you do.

I wanted to take a minute to post because I feel that it's important. Like some of you, I'm new to laser engraving and all the tricks, software and so on. Youtube has become a staple in my "How To" diet for quite some time. By accident, I stumbled across a video on a laser engraver a guy was using to make coasters; I was intrigued with what you could do with one for so little initial expense. To cut to the chase, I started to watch all the videos I could find and then came across Rich. The difference in what he's done compared to others is, in my opinion, remarkable. I ordered and received my Ortur laser, loaded up Lightburn and I was off to the races....IMMEDIATELY! All due to Rich's videos and this blog once I found it. The help navigating Lightburn alone is fantastic, but the libraries he's added are phenomenal.
Now to the point. I recognize value, and everything I was given in tutorial, tips, files and often entertainment. Because of that, I made a donation to the cause. Not a lot of money but wanted him to know that I appreciate all the work he's done that I (and probably you) have benefited from. I would ask that you think about doing the same if you're able. It's amazing the amount of time he's put into this!
As a disclaimer, I do not know Rich and have never had the pleasure of talking with him. I just want him to keep doing what he's doing so I/we benefit from the experience.
Thanks again Rich!

Thank you all so much for your support! I wish I could answer every comment here but I would need 48 hours in a day to do so!
Your donations help to defray the costs of me doing this full time and not having to work my part time retirement job.
In case you're wondering where the donations go, 100% of the money I get in donations & affiliate links go to a private webserver co-located in Dallas, a network IT guy on call, supplies for the videos, and LLC management & operating expenses. I should say about 150% goes to that, since I do still have to reach into the pocket occasionally, but it's getting better! 😎

I really appreciate your support! Everyone, from the $3 donations to the $0.30 click on an affiliate link!
All of this combined supports the effort and expenses and keeps this project growing!
You are all appreciated, even if hard times keeps you from donating!

Thank you all again! I can't believe how fast we've grown this community, and I couldn't have done this without all of your help!

Thank you Rich for all of this...we appreciate all your hard work and efforts in this site and all your videos. We are very new to this world and very nervous on starting out. We jumped in with both feet due to some life changes and look forward to growing and getting comfortable with Co 2 engraving/cutting utilizing your knowledge. Thanks again!
Hi there, we are a husband/wife team just getting into the engraving and CNC plasma world. We have a (Red)Omtech 100w CO2 laser. Our hobbies include woodworking and anything outdoors... hunting, fishing, hiking, shooting, gardening, boating, and power sports. Thank you, Craig & Jaime

Just ordered a laser, found this crazy guy on YouTube who gives away his art libraries for Lightburn software and followed over to this forum.

I have a hobby business making pens and bottle stoppers and other turned items. I used to do as many as 12 craft shows per year before Covid shut everything down and finally have a couple of shows to do coming up this year. I thought that adding some laser etching to my turnings would be nice to add.

Thank you Rich for the GREAT youtube videos and I hope to participate in this forum regularly.

:D Thank you Rich, for all the great tutorials and information on how to use Lightburn, not to mention all the files and documentations that you have uploaded. I know it takes a lot of time to do this, that others may benefit. Thanks again
