Thanks

That's a Mac feature, not Lightburn.

Rich, re: the emojis question. I have tried to send screen shots of the edit menu as you did to me and also of the emojis and symbols that open up when I click on them in the edit memo but cannot seem to get them into your email system. I guess I'm not sure why this is Mac issue when it is an option in the LB Edit menu..

I would appreciate any further ideas you have. I really appreciate your help.

It's not an issue, it's a Mac only feature. I don't own a Mac so I can't help you with it. You can try and ask on the Lightburn support forum for help.

Hi I am new to forums and Laser engravers. I have a Sculpfun s9 which is a recent purchase and I am a complete beginner. I have down loaded and 3d printed a air assist adapter which fits well and seems ok, but the hole in the bottom for the laser beam to emerge seems a bit small. What size should be, is there a spec for this?
Thanks

Between 2 and 3 mm is good. A fine jet blowing into the cut will clear out most carbon and ash debris. Blows it everywhere though lol! but that's what it's for.

Laserunit is wiggeling

Post by 040673 »

Hello.

I've got a problem with my Sculpfun S9 Laserengraver.

I have the laser for a week now, and i love it!
But, since today, the laser is wiggeling, as it runs.
So i can't get straight lines.
What i already did:

- Tightend the belts.
- Fastend the screws on the laser unit, wich are holding the little wheels.
- cleaned the belts.

The laser unit stays wiggeling.

Is there anybody, Who knows the solution?
Sculpfun S9 Basic, no upgrades yet ;)

This is a mechanical problem. You'll have to find out what part is loose. I would suspect it is the eccentric nut on the bottom wheel of the bracket.
