They have many new designs of all types for purchase and for free. I am NOT affiliated in any way with them.

The thing I would ask is that you support the sites if you are able to as these folks rely on donations to keep their sites alive.
I as well, have no affiliation to either site, but I do use them fairly regularly if even for ideas.

I found this site that was mentioned in a YouTube Laser Channel. LOTS of usable online tools to create SVG files.

For personal use the designs are free. If you decide to use a design you can click on the donate button and it gives you options. Very reasonable and if you are like me, making stuff for family and friends to GIVE AWAY the free option works. Please be respectful if you are going to sell anything, you will need to purchase the commercial license.

Great idea! Why not THIS topic?
The only problem I see is that we can't edit each others post, so we'll end up with a long list of posts and this would be more useful as a single comprehensive post.

It is also a great source if you lack the necessary skills to use CAD programs.

There are several free laser-compatible design files available online. They cover general and most used projects like coasters, boxes, sign making, wall decor, etc.

This article will introduce some of the popular websites that host free laser cut files for anyone to download and use.

Design Bundles

Design Bundles is an online store that sells photos, graphics, templates, fonts, etc.
In their free design resources section, they freely provide laser cutting files. To download these files, you need to create a user account with them.
The files are provided in DXF, SVG, EPS, PDF, PNG, AI, CDR, or JPG. The trending laser cutting project files are mandala designs, cake toppers, key chains, earrings, art designs, etc.

Library Laser
Library Laser is an e-commerce website that sells digital designs for laser cutting.
They share their designs in CDR, AI, DXF, PDF, and SVG file formats.
There are more than a thousand laser-cutting designs that you can download, but you can only freely download eight files per day.
Also, you'll have to maintain an active user account with them to download.
Unfortunately, you cannot use the files for commercial purposes. However, all free designs are licensed under "Creative Commons (CC)".
It means you'll have to give credit to the creator when using it. You can also modify the design as per your need.

3axis.co
3axis.co has nearly 9,000 free laser cutting projects. They are available in DXF, CDR, and EPS file formats.
You don't need to have an account with them to download the file. Anyone can download them by just visiting their website.
Some of the popular laser projects in 3axis.co are keychains, wall decor, mirror frames, cat houses, drill bit organizers, acrylic designs, Christmas decorations, etc.

Trotec Laser has a collection of laser projects on its website. Each project comes with detailed explanations on making it and has all the required laser settings.
Anyone can download the project files, and there is no need of having a user account.
All files are compressed and packed in a ZIP file with the design files in AI, CDR, DXF, PDF, and SVG formats for each project.

FreePatternsArea

FreePatternsArea is a website that hosts free-to-use software and projects. They also have a set of 3D project files for CNC Laser Cutting Machines.
Some projects are lantern frames, napkin holders, cat houses, lampshades, airplane models, wooden jewelry boxes, wall art, etc.
The project files are in CDR, DXF, SVG, EPS, PDF, PNG, DWG, and STL formats. You can download them without having a user account.

Epilog Laser

Epilog Laser has a set of downloadable laser cutting project files available on their website.
The projects are compressed into a ZIP file having a CDR project file. Each project also has details of Epilog's laser machine settings used.
You do not need to have a user account to access the files. It can be downloaded anonymously by anyone for free.

Free Vector

As it is clear from its name, Free Vector hosts vector files for laser-cutting and CNC projects.
The files are available in CDR, STL, and DXF formats.
To download, you don't have to log in. Anyone can freely download it as a compressed RAR file.

k40lasercutter

k40lasercutter has made a series of free laser cut files available on their website. The files are available in SVG, DXF, AI, and CDR formats.
The website uses a checkout-based download mechanism. During the process, it asks for your details.
You can also log in, but it's optional. If you signup and log in, you don't need to fill in the personal details every time you download.
