I was finally setting up the Atomstack R3 and thought it would be easy BUT, When I hooked it up using the instructions in the book, It had me adjusting the parameters in the y axis. It worked but when I went back to the regular cable setup it had changed all the settings I had. It was like 2200mm/at 20%power instead of like Red being a 250mm/85% power.
Like a dummy I didn't look hard enough in lightburn to notice that there is a rotary setting.
Has anyone used this with the Atomstack A5 M40 40w? And did it leave settings in place? Also if so did you leave the original cables or are you able to configure it. Actually, I may have answered THAT stupid question already. In order to connect the Rotary Roller you would have to connect the cable from the roller (DUH).
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Gary

Re: Atomstack R3 Pro Rotary Roller
Your power and speed settings are controlled in the LightBurn file and enabling (or disabling) the rotary shouldn't affect those settings. When you open LightBurn, your power and speed settings are either set to the last file opened or to default values. That depends on how you have LightBurn configured.

Re: Atomstack R3 Pro Rotary Roller
Thanks Will.
Have you noticed anywhere where it said to be able to configure to set as default? I just wanted to make sure I didn't screw anything up when I put the other setting in. So when I reconnected the regular plug in I reset the settings I had used before as I stated earlier. They should stay as default settings I assume. I have did a test using a file from the art gallery (Thanks Rich.) And putting text above and below it. It did very well.
Again thanks Will, It was nice to see another Atomstack A5 user on here.

Also, check this settings if you want to load the default layer list every time you open LightBurn.
Uncheck this option and you'll use the settings of the last file opened.
