I'm really wanting to pull the trigger and get this MK2. It looks superior to the other similar machines I've been considering.

Do you know if there are any plans for an IR module similar to what xtool and wecreat offer?

An IR module and an air purifier seem to be the only features missing from what the competitors have. If this is the place to make wishes/suggestions, skipping the 2w IR and going straight to the 20w Fiber would be most excellent. Etching and engraving is cool and all, but the F1 Ultra has enlightened us all to embossing. I would have already ordered the MK2 if I knew the IR is soon to be available and will be compatible.

Yes, the IR is scheduled for the end of the year; there is no fiber in R&D. The xTool 20/20 fiber is far too overpriced! Gweike sells theirs for $1399. For about the same price as the xTool, you can get the Gweike 30W MOPA fiber, which is worlds above the xTool toy and can do colors.
