LIGHTBURN CANNOT OPEN FILE! CORRECT!!

Folks PLEASE read the instructions on the downloads!

Every time you send me an email or private message saying that Lightburn cannot open an Art or Material library, you take precious time out of my day! Worse yet, time away from making videos and adding content here!

Yes, neither Lightburn nor your computer can open these files! I have taken the time to write out the complete instructions on the download pages for using these files. If you skip over them because you're in a rush, that's now on you! I have gotten SIXTEEN of these messages in the last eight hours and I am forced to just delete them from now on! I will no longer reply to these messages, sorry!

I even put a highlighted sentence, Installing Libraries - PLEASE READ! on the page, and yet the messages still keep coming! I'm now up to 150+ messages a day. This takes up a good part of my time and takes me away from everything else. Please use the search feature on the board or create a new topic for questions.

There are now over 8,000 members here, many with as much (or more) knowledge than me, and if you ask a clear and concise question, it will get get answered by one of our great members. This board was designed to answer questions, and by sending a private message, you're defeating the purpose! Ask in the forum and get an answer there. I'm sure other people are going to have the same questions and would also want an answer!

I love all of you guys, and I thank you for your support, but I have to budget my time better! Between YouTube, Anti-social Media & the Forum, I'm up to over 75 hours a week....

Also want to add be sure and use the search function and FAQ's.
There are also a lot of questions that can easily be answered if you just try it! I used to bother everyone, too, because I wanted to be sure, or wanted a quick answer but it is really a lot easier to just try it. You will learn a lot more from your mistakes and definitely remember it more than if someone tells you.

I am sorry you are being bombarded. I support your stance. I think you identified the cause, we' are all in a hurry to see our results and when it does not happen we become anxious.
I do want to thank you for your time and commitment. You and this forum have made my hobby much more fun. Thank you!

I do thank you for your upfront direct approach to this issue sorry that not only one person seems to be having the same issues. I further need to note that I'm still new at this, but everyone has to learn. so as mentioned i have Followed the READ ME to a (T) and I'm still unsuccessful in getting your files to upload into the library. I have worked on this the past few days. So now I'm here asking if anyone on here could help me to figure it out. I'm willing to SUPPORT LA HOBBY GUY without a doubt but my time OUR time is just as valuable as anyone else I drive truck over the road and i do the laser work on the weekends> So when I'm out on the road i do my program designing out here then take it home and finish my work. so please anyone can help private message me thank you all for the help

The exact thing as I am getting. Will even pay for them if that makes a difference. They are or should be much larger files then 1 kb. Something is not going through.
I think Rich can fix this.

There is nothing to fix. There have been over 140,000 successful file downloads from this forum. I'm sorry you're computer is misconfigured. Perhaps this video will help.

No, they do not open with anything. This is what's confusing people! You do not open art or material libraries. You LOAD them.
