The trick I found is you have to load the .lbart file under the art library and NOT import them under File. You have to load them before you can import them.

ATTENTION EVERYONE THAT IS HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE ART LIBRARY! Getting the cut files are super easy to navigate. Then you try to download all of Rich's art files and cant get them to open. You follow his steps but still no luck. The problem is you do not have the art library turned on. You are trying to load the art library into the cut library which will not work, they are different types of files and not interchangeable. YOU MUST TURN ON THE ART LIBRARY!!! Go to the window tab at the top of the page select art library. Then you can "LOAD" the art library from your downloads. I hope this helps someone and eases the burden on Rich. Rich thank you for so many resources, you have given all of us newbies a great place to start!

1. go to window in Lighburn at the top
2. click Art Library "not Library"

Start - Settings - Apps - Default Apps

If you right click on the file and go to OPEN WITH you can select a program to use and click the box to always use that program.

As long as it is a lightburn project file (.lbrn) yea. If it is a lbart file or clb file then re-read that first post as it will tell you how to do those

I guess my question would be with lbart what program should I use? I am brand new to all of this so I’m unsure.
