Supplies for my Ortur Laser:
=======================================

The CORRECT glasses for my red dot laser
Believe it or not, the glasses that come with with your desktop laser are NOT rated for the 190nm-490nm wavelength for your red dot diode laser! If you don’t believe me, just spend a few minutes burning with them on! You’ll actually start to see dots in your vision! Ask me how I know! Now you should really NEVER spend any time looking at the laser while it’s engraving, however, there are many times where it’s necessary. In these cases, please make sure you have the right eye protection!

CHEAP and effective transfer/mask tape
Transfer tape is a necessity for laser cutting or engraving. This tape is both cheaper and better than masking or blue tape. Using tape will eliminate edge burn on both cutting and engraving. It is an absolute necessity if you’re etching glass or using a rotary!

Stainless scissor platform for height adjustment of my bed
Mount your waste board on this inexpensive scissor jack and you’ll never have the frustration of focusing on different thickness items again.

Steel bed for my laser
I use this perforated steel on top of my waste board. It is especially good for cutting wood and acrylic! Focus your laser on the STEEL when cutting and then put your project on top. Even 5W lasers can cut wood and acrylic when focused properly!

LED light bases – 2-pack – CHEAP and nice!
Amazing LED bases for your acrylic signs! Both battery and/or AC adapter (included.) Color changing with a remote control!

Pre-cut Acrylic for LED light bases
So you don’t have to cut the acrylic for your light bases. Perfectly sized for the above LED base.

12-pack of Acrylic, 5×7 clear
If you want to cut or design your own acrylics.

60 Pack of wood rounds for coasters
Nice coasters, cheap and reliable. Custom designed coasters is a money maker!

Slate coasters with a stand
NINE 4×4 black slate coasters with a metal stand! You can easily make $30-40 per run of custom slate coasters to sell on Etsy or Facebook Marketplace.

3D Printing

My Anycubic Mega Pro – 3D printer & laser engraver
4th Gen 3D Printer integrates the functions of 3d printing and laser engraving for those looking for a 2-in-1 machine. Mine works fabulously and while the laser is only 1.5W, it still does just as good as my 20W (5.5W) Ortur, just needs more passes. The only reason I have the Ortur is for the huge bed.

eSun PLA, 1.75mm – the best I’ve found!
I have tried tons of PLA filament for my 3D printer and this brand is the most consistent and prints flawlessly.
